So Many Good Things!

An admirer in Texas sent me two dozen organic roses... bless this mysterious person.
Two friends designed gorgeous t-shirts and tank tops with hand - made silk screens that say "I heart Nance" and the heart is a real 4-chambered ventrical looking thing. L-word style tank tops and a pink t-shirt with galloping horses on it! I had a lovely night of art and Polish food and vodka. Shirley Wegner had a show up called "Homebase Brooklyn" in Greenpoint, and as usual is making beautiful and thoughtful work, and is gorgeous. And then had some German-replacement therapy. All on my birthday! Or near my birthday.

Work goals:
Sent my letter to the Pimp's PR representative, after some minor tweaks. Do not call her a "Madame" call her a "General Manager." Then had a phone call with an international sales agent. For the next 6 weeks, I need to do NOTHING but shop my film around to broadcasters in U.S. Once I get one broadcaster, its easier to get others. So my goals are set.

And tonight -- happy hour with Ashkan, and then dinner with Tom, Greg and Nick. Quiet and small, with small screening... and then perhaps later night revelry.

Things are bright on this grim, snowy, wet birthday of mine.
