No city is perfect--

Seriously -- the line for customs at JFK was over an hour long, and our luggage was chucked off the carousel, mine barely missing a puddle of rum. But two very sweet gay men from Zurich adopted me as their own, saving my place in line so I could pee.

Netanya came over today and we ordered chocolate pancakes from the diner and sat in a pile of my clothing and ate. She's off to Israel to a wedding (the rabbi in my movie is marrying a dancer/sex therapist type) and to hang out -- so we had our goodbye, pancakes, and a quick photo shoot.

This is also the HUGEST THANK YOU to Thomas and Nico... to Thomas for letting me use his mobile like a cabine de telephone, to Nico for making me a 5 course breakfast (with fresh strawberries and a shot of vodka!) to both of them for fixing the bed for me when I was too lazy, too drunk or too nowhere to be found, and allowing me to spread out, infest, infiltrate and take over every corner of their (married snore-snore) lives for the week that I was here.

Ooh -- their karma is so good! Next stop, Tel Aviv?

Never, I mean, ever has this boy been so nice. Marraige, and perhaps the screaming children have diluted his edge?
