Yo yo -- see that set of boxes and wires and various computers, and glistening shards on the floor? That's my computer! With a brand new mother board, and so far the baby has accepted the baboon heart! After much hootenany religious revelry -- we got the mother fucker to work again! And we are able to "lay off" any video I create onto both decks so that I can make dubs and turn them to DVDs. So what happened on Oct.10 and many other nail-biting hair raising nights/early mornigs will hopefully not happen again or as often. But we're honing in on the variables, and I'm learning the quirks and tricks. Mainly: turn it off. turn it on. pray.

Oh dear god I'm afraid of the fees I owe him... I've offered him Nobu, Scores, fancy spa packages... we're currently working out the compensation. To quote Pat "I can't do that to an independent filmmaker... man, if you were in advertising... I have no mercy for guys in advertising." This is Pat's third night in a row at my house -- until midnight.

I'm so so scared of the bill... gulp.
