The Pressure!
I'm trying to not think about it. And hopefully in ten minutes when I'm back in DV land looking at material and preparing my script for Thursday's meeting (more on that later) this will be a long gone memory. BUT
I thought now that my sister was engaged that my father could relax a little bit. She's the oldest, get her married off and then deal with the next daughter. My father is somewhere between Jane Austen and Fiddler on the Roof. It's been cheerfully reported that now my father can "focus full attention on me... so get with it..." as in, get married and have a kid. Now.
I guess this is normal? Nooo, its fucking insane. And I will ignore it. I will breathe. And continue my work. And gather all this insanity, oh yes, we've been collecting emails for about 5 years, and make a short film about the Dad. Sweet revenge.
