Visiting Etai in Tel Aviv

Etai and Ma'yan moved in together. Ma'yan has amazing hair, total hipster hair do. She has a dog named Buffy. I gotta say, I'm not thrilled. Buffy licks and wags and needs attention and jumps and is a big, hairy (cute-ish) dog. Etai has an amazing cat named Raus. I love her, she's a bitch, but I love her. Now Raus has to hide from Buffy and of course, I'm on Raus's side. Ma'yan had to work today so we went to the "Kerem" or the Yemenite Quarter in Tel Aviv for lunch.

Etai hates pictures. He barely tolerated the one I took of him. Avishai was with us, he's more laid back. We were eating this green stuff with our soup and hummous, Etai is researching it for an article. In Yemen its called Hilbe, in English its "fenugreek." Never heard of it. The green stuff is in a lot of Yemenite dishes and has the consistency of well, semen, and is supposed to be really good for you. You put lemon juice on it.

Etai and I have a lot of catching up to do. But we always start our visit in this neighborhood over Yemenite food.
