And now to more trivial matters, like, my home situation...

My Brooklyn sublet is not going to happen. It fell through. Now, the beauty of the apartment and sparkling sunny Brooklyn is the summer time and spring time joy. The garden, the park, the bike rides.... none of this would be at my fingertips if the sublet was for only 6 months... which it was. So December - May, with half my stuff in boxes to save a few pennies is not ideal. The amount I would have been saving does not add up to the alternative cost.

It will, however, get me in gear to move to Brooklyn in a more permanent way in the next year. Or less.
