Inspired!

Had a fabulous experience at "Making Your Media Matter" conference in Washington DC... a jam packed day of panels and conversations about filmmaking, rabble rousing, committment to creating cultural change through films and new platforms.

Why this conference was good:

1) Everyone there has been slaving away on their docs for at least six years

2) Nobody looked over my shoulder to see if anyone more interesting was around

3) The projects are inspiring, important, well articulated and funny

4) Chicks ruled the day! One after another, powerful media women in the house

It all made up for the lack of coffee and the 5 a.m. train I took to get there.
