The Millionaire's Lunch

Yum -- this was late Friday lunch in Abu-Ghosh. A nice village outside of Jerusalem with the best hummous in the world. What you see are two types of lamb, hummous, tehina, kubbe, eggplant salad, pickled cabbage, pickles and olives. My friend Enia befriended Mr. Arabian Villager a few years back and he treated us to a meal. Mr. Arabian Villager won the Illinois lottery and become Mr. Arabian Millionaire ever since. His restaurant is delicious.
We're trying to sell him on some sexy film ideas. He seemed game, however, he's got business deals with Tropicana (in Saudi Arabia), several restaurants, and a inked deal with Speilberg for the story of his life. Gotta wrap up my doc first (in shallah he'll help? doubtful), but Enia wants us to create a fiction together. Mr. Millionaire wanted details, so we made them up on the spot. He seemed interested. And so - begins our cultivation. Hopefully this will be a quick one with no strings attached- ha ha ha.

YUM! and all those yummy foods are also Armenian, Turkish, Greek, Palestinian, Lebanese, Syrian, etc etc...too bad all the cultures that eat (and invented) such delicious, revolutionary cuisine can't all get along as well as the flavors do...
what a fascinating host you had!
Elfchicken, you so cute.
