Kim Stars in a French Music Video

Or it least it looks that way from this picture. Foxy at forty, we spent the weekend at the Ein Gedi nature reserve, by the Dead Sea to ring in a new decade on someone else's dime (with a banjo on my knee...) Our weekend activities included a four hour hike through Wadi Arugot-- to hidden fresh water pools and clear waterfalls, surrounded by reeds and ferns along the caves where King David hid out from his attackers. The air was pure and dry-- the perfect temperature with a warm wind. And the mountains are enormous.
A fuzzy creature, the Syrian Hyrax, part Lorax part musk rat lives in the area, climbing on trees, scuttling along paths and peeking in and out of holes. http://www.israelimages.com/files/10718.htm. They're social and I thought for sure they were dashing off to little tea parties that we were too big for. We also saw beautiful mountain goats native of Sudan.
