Dante's Inferno

Not sure where I am on the ring cycle... but this week is fundraising meetings, meet/greets and it's always the same ol' song.

"Um, no, I think it's 'great' but..." we (feminists, jews, whomever) don't really fund film... have you tried george clooney? or maybe someone in hollywood? or maybe sundance? That was yesterday. sigh. I'm over it.

Tonight is a "coffee" date in a hip midtown hotel bar with a rich guy dabbling in film. Do they serve coffee at midtown hotel bars? Am trying to look "bohemian, poor, cool, artsy, bankable" in my outfit. Y'know all that he's not. And will talk up the prostitutes, because everyone seems to love to hear about them.

"Hey! Mr. money and power! you looking for talent? drive? I'm right here!"

and the fast, by the way, is broken. we are now on vegetables, low-carbs, salads and red wine...
